My sisters and I discovered a treasure trove of drawings done by our mother in the 1930's when we were going through her portfolio. We marvelled at a whole lifetime of fashion designs, sketches and watercolours.
I decided to show these to the world by making them into a collection of greeting cards. The images are simple, elegant, and breathtakingly fresh, suitable for any occasion or message, and echo my belief that even the simplest of correspondence should be done in style. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.
The collection of drawings we found in the portfolio combines our mother's love of fashion with her talent as an artist. These were never intended to be finished works, just quick ideas translated onto the page with a suggestion of colour and fabric.
